Fickle spring weather’s made for layering

Clothing style tip: Take a multilayered approach when venturing out around the block…or the world.
Peel off the Princess Top once the sun starts heating things up and carry on cool in the Tank Top.
Layered looks make sense when you don’t know which way the wind may blow. Up here in the Northwest, when we saunter out on a spring day, we dress for three seasons. That’s why versatility is a key ingredient in my design objectives: many Sympatico styles are created to dress up or down, and maybe more importantly, to layer.
Sympatico’s unique fabric that blends 55% hemp with 45% sustainably grown Tencel is an ideal layering material. Because it’s wonderfully breathable yet relatively tightly woven, our fabric is adaptable to whatever the day throws at it. Thanks to the Tencel content, you’ll not only stay comfy, you’ll also arrive in style since the Tencel helps shed wrinkles and drapes attractively.
Zoe is layered for changeable spring weather in a Mulberry Trapeze Tunic over Graphite Stovepipe Pants.
If there’s travel on your agenda this spring, (and after the past two years, who doesn’t have a case of wanderlust?) Sympatico’s collection of eco-friendly fashion is a great starting point in creating a capsule wardrobe for travel. Again, breathability is key, whether it's on a long flight or grappling with tropical climates. By having a couple of layers on hand, you can be ready for anything.

Packing a long skirt for travel can make a lot of sense; here’s why.
You’ll be glad you brought the Princess Top along once things cool off toward evening.
Versatility is good when it comes to travel. But a well-chosen travel wardrobe has to be super-easy to pack and to refresh as well. Again, Sympatico’s hemp/Tencel blend shines on the road. First of all, it packs compactly when rolled. Then, when you get there, just unroll your Sympatico tops, skirts, and pants and let them relax overnight on a hanger. Using a steamy bathroom or spritzing the garments with a little water will help the wrinkles acquired over the day to relax nicely.
When spring weather's crisp, Nikki's layered approach includes a Trapeze Tunic in Graphite and Black 24" Flip Skirt.
Another aspect of layering is the ability to be modest if you choose. I often travel to countries where custom dictates different standards of dress. Dressing modestly and in keeping with local norms, helps defuse that issue and keeps me comfortable on all levels.
Has spring arrived where you are yet? If you’re in one of those spots where it tends to come late, here’s a little musical harbinger of the season to keep you going:
